| Annie Hurley Morrison, TCRG Originally from Rockville, Maryland, Annie began Irish Dancing at the age of 5 under the instruction of Margaret Prendergast, T.C.R.G. in Gaithersburg, MD. Growing up in the Prendergast School of Irish Dancing, she became a regional, national, and world championship qualifier in Irish Dance. Annie is a certified member of An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha. She achieved her T.C.R.G. certification in October, 2004. The Hurley School of Irish Dance opened in September, 2006. Annie is also a Registered Nurse with a BSN from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. She recently stepped away from Critical Care Nursing to focus on her children and passion for Irish Dance. |
| The Hurley School of Irish Dance shares with both children and adults the extraordinary culture of traditional Irish dancing. Along with the experience of learning Irish dance technique, students within The Hurley School will gain rich friendships, amazing opportunities to travel and compete, and significant life skills such as leadership and confidence. | Margaret Prendergast Moebus, TCRG Margaret received her certification to teach Irish dance from An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha in 1987. She began teaching in New Jersey in 1988 and after moving to Maryland in 1989 she opened the Prendergast School of Irish Dance. Her students competed and qualified at the regional, national and world championship level. She is most proud of the fact that three of her former students are also certified TCRG’s. |
| Michelle Donnelly Kennedy, TCRG Michelle Donnelly Kennedy began dancing at the age of 6 with Maureen Malcom’s “Erin Dancers." Maureen’s encouragement laid the foundation and opportunity for Michelle to begin teaching while a teenager. Michelle received her certification to each Irish Dance from An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha and etablished of The Donnelly School of Irish Dancing in 1991. Her students competed and qualified at the regional, national and world championship level. |
